Center for Delivery, Organization, and Markets (CDOM): Staff Biographies

Cynthia Palmer, M.Sc.

Cynthia Palmer, M.Sc., is the Project Officer for AHRQ's Accelerating Change and Transformation in Organizations and Networks (ACTION) project. ACTION includes 15 partnerships that comprise over 150 collaborating organizations. ACTION links the Nation's top researchers with some of the largest health care systems to conduct rapid cycle, demand driven, applied research on issues important to health care delivery systems.

Ms. Palmer is also the AHRQ lead for a Collaborative sponsored by AHRQ and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF)—the National Health Plan Collaborative to reduce racial and ethnic disparities. She has over 20 years of experience in health services research and clinical epidemiology. She joined AHRQ in December 2001 from MEDTAP International, Inc., Bethesda, MD, where she served as a Research Scientist and Deputy Director of the Health Economics Group.
