Department Announces Grant to Assist Indiana Workers Affected by Recreational Industry Layoffs
The Department of Labor has announced a $10,395,000 grant to assist approximately 900 Indiana workers affected by mass layoffs and permanent closures in the recreational vehicle industry.
This grant, awarded to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, will provide affected workers with the full array of dislocated worker services that may include skills assessment, individual career counseling and occupational skills training.
The area targeted for this grant includes Elkhart, Fulton, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Marshall, Noble and St. Joseph counties.
