On March 18, 2002, NRC issued NRC
Bulletin 2003-01  ,
"Potential Impact of Debris Blockage on Emergency Sump Recirculation
at Pressurized-Water Reactors."; The bulletin required licensees
to respond within 60 days, either stating that they were in compliance
with all regulatory requirements or describing compensatory measures taken
to reduce risk.
