NCMRR Early Career Development Workshop

October 4-6, 2007

Location: The Renaissance Hotel, Washington, D.C.

Sponsor/Co-Sponsor(s): The National Canter for Medical Rehabilitation Research (NCMRR) of the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in conjunction with the American Congress of Medical Rehabilitation(ACMR)/American Society of Neuroradiology (ACNR) meeting (October 2-7).

Purpose: This program is one of NCMRR's Biennial Training Workshops that provide training and career development support for those in the rehabilitative fields and physical medicine and rehabilitation departments. Each Workshop is targeted toward 150 to 200 candidates. This two-day meeting includes sessions on research highlights, career development, networking, grantsmanship, NIH peer review, funding opportunities and clinical trials planning and conduct.
