Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Casey Tibbs, the first active-duty servicemember to compete for the U.S. Paralympic Team, at the Paralympic Games in 2004, will be competing for gold in track and field at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games. Tibbs spoke with bloggers about the upcoming 2008 Paralympic games and the events he will compete in, including the pentathlon, 200-meter race, 400-meter race, long jump and the four-by-100 meter relay. "I'm just ready to go there and have fun, and that's what I'm going to do. And, I really can't wait to go out there and represent the United States. I really can't, and not only the United States, the United States Navy, as well, and the whole military," he said. Story | Audio(Mp3)
