28. What drugs are available?

Certain drugs that have been used successfully in other cancers are now being used to treat some breast cancers. For example, some women take the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel in combination with the drugs cyclophosphamide and doxorubicin to help kill tumors that have spread to other parts of the body. This mix of drugs may increase the length of time you will live, or the length of time you will live without cancer. (Answer continues on next page.)
