The official Ombudsman Appreciation date is just around the corner, Sunday, September 14, 2008.  Commands are authorized to honor their ombudsmen anytime during the month of September.  Please click on the following link to download a template of an Ombudsman Appreciation Certificate.

Commands may choose to honor their ombudsmen at an appreciation lunch or dinner with the command, or with all the commands at their installation.  Remember, the most meaningful gift to a command ombudsman is a verbal ”Thank You” from you and your Command Support Team. 

Whichever way you choose, please remember these important and vital command volunteers during the month of September.
