Breast Cancer
Frequently Asked Questions
28. What drugs are available?
Certain drugs that have been used successfully in other cancers are
now being used to treat some breast cancers. For example, some
women take the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel in combination with the
drugs cyclophosphamide and doxorubicin to help kill tumors that
have spread to other parts of the body. This mix of drugs may
increase the length of time you will live, or the length of time
you will live without cancer. (Answer continues on next
page.)
