| The purpose of The Southwestern
Surgical Congress shall be to stimulate and promote the progress of
surgery. The Southwestern Surgical Congress shall offer ACCME approved, innovative, high-quality, valuable, educational programs to the general surgeons and associated specialty surgeons in the fifteen states comprising the organization to stimulate and promote the progress of surgery. An annual meeting shall be held each year and an educational program will be presented including scientific papers, discussions and clinics. The Congress shall engage in the publication of papers by its participants in an approved journal. |
