CONGRATULATIONS TO DR. MARK SCHIFFMAN, the fifth graduate of the Certificate Program in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Schiffman completed the 500-hour lecture, laboratory and clinical curriculum while commuting from his full-time practice in Arnold, Missouri. Dr. Schiffman believes that the courses have made a dramatic change in the way he practices dentistry. With the new esthetic techniques that he learned at the course and his new equipment he can now dramatically improve the appearance and self-esteem of his patients. This creates a more personally fulfilling and complete dental practice. Digital photography has become essential in his practice not only for patient records but also for showing the value of esthetic dentistry to patients. He is on staff at St. Mary's and St. Anthony's Hospitals and is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Schiffman has attained Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and was listed as one of America's top dentists by the Consumers' Research Council of America.

University-Based Certificate Program in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry

Dentists may earn both continuing education and university credit when completing the Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry as university classes. Application and admission to the certificate program is possible after completing the Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry: Level I.
