American Indian/Alaska Natives have the highest rates of drinking, including heavy drinking. As a group, American Indian/Alaska Natives also have higher rate of drinking and driving and alcohol-related fatal crashes compared to the general population. This publication discusses alcoholism in American Indian/Alaska Natives women.
