EPO's Educational Technology Programs adapt current NASA technological tools and mission projects to meet educational goals.

Projects include: VIC, the Virtual Interactive Classroom, where students can manipulate a science table or a wind tunnel using the internet;EarthKAM, a program that lets middle school students request

real-time images of Earth from a camera on-board the Shuttle; Computers for learning, a program to share excess computing equipment; and the Learning Technologies Project, to increase students' interest and proficiency in mathematics and science through the use of video conferences, computing, communications technology, and by using NASA's mission in aeronautics as a theme.
