The Decision Support Center (DSC) directly supports the Assistant Secretary
of Defense for Networks and Information Integration in his role as the
principal staff assistant and advisor to the Secretary of Defense and Deputy
Secretary of Defense on issues in support of C4ISR programs, investments and
policies. The DSC conducts short term, high impact assessments to provide
senior DoD decision makers with the quantitative data to mitigate risk.
Working with all other DoD entities, including other analytic activities,
and Industry experts, the DSC is positioned to address issues of the
Department's capability portfolio managers.
To provide analytic support which maximizes value and manages the risks to enable net-centric operations.
Accurate, independent, and actionable analyses which support senior decision makers.
