Attached please find a copy of Assistant Secretary Lynn Scarlett’s memorandum indicating that it is imperative that the Department’s workforce mirror America.  She notes that the Department’s framework for its Human Capital Management Plan provides a strong foundation to link our diversity and human resources goals to our organizational effectiveness. 

 

This message is timely as we start a new year and begin to formulate plans for addressing diversity under the HCMP, the Department’s Strategic Plan, and AEP goals objectives.
