Effective immediately, please instruct your Equal Employment Opportunity Counselors to encourage aggrieved persons to file their formal EEO complaint with the EEO Office of the bureau/office in which the claim(s) occurred. Counselors should explain that formal complaints sent to the Department are referred to the respective bureau/office for processing; therefore, selecting this filing option can cause potential delays.
