EQUAL OPPORTUNITY DIRECTIVE 2002-14

To:                Bureau Equal Opportunity Officers

From:            E. Melodee Stith, Director, Office for Equal Opportunity

Subject:         Monthly Compliance Reports to EEOC

Effective immediately, if a compliance action in an EEOC Order is delayed, your monthly compliance reports must include the reason for the delay and the projected date of completion. Should there be extenuating circumstances which delay the timely completion of a compliance action, you are to provide a detailed explanation, accompanied by documentation that supports the circumstances.

Please be sure that these reports are submitted when due (the second Friday of each month) and contain all required information and documentation. I expect to receive these monthly compliance reports until you are otherwise notified by this Office that the EEOC has closed out the compliance file.

These instructions supplement the guidance outlined in EOD 1998-16.
