Information Technology Exchange Program Private Industry and Federal agencies learning from each other!
The ITEP is a new and exciting professional development opportunity. If you are already employed in IT in the private sector, or if you are currently employed in IT in a federal agency, you may be eligible to participate. This program allows exceptional performers from the Federal and private IT sectors to participate in temporary assignments of three (3) months or longer, in the other sector. ITEP promotes the interchange of IT workers to develop, supplement, and modernize IT skills to expand the long term competencies of the Federal IT workforce. While Federal agencies have a strong interest in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, Solutions Architecture, IT Project Management, and IT Security, ITEP exchange opportunities can exist in all IT disciplines. Please visit www.opm.gov for more details about the program.
