TITLE:  Memorandum of Agreement between the Bureau of Land Management and the Federal Highway Administration for the Administration of Emergency Relief Available under 23 USC 125 for Federal Roads Off the Federal-Aid System

PURPOSE OF THE AGREEMENT: To establish interagency procedures through which the FHWA and the BLM will administer emergency relief for Federal roads not in the Federal-aid system. This MOA covers emergency relief for the repair of reconstruction of BLM-owned roads and trails that have been declared to have suffered serious damage as the result of a nature disaster over a wide area or catastrophic failure. The Federal Lands Highway Divisions have the responsibility to administer the emergency relief at the field level. Funds for this program are provided under Title 23 United States Code 125.
