Weekly earnings of full-time workers in first quarterMedian weekly earnings of the nation's 99.1 million full-time wage and salary workers were $592 in the first quarter of 2001. The $683 median weekly earnings of 45- to 54-year-olds were the highest of any age group. Workers 35 to 44 years old had the next highest ($647), followed by 55- to 64-year-olds ($627).
