Formalinized Physiological Saline Solution

Formaldehyde solution (36-38%) 6 ml
NaCl 8.5 ml
Distilled water 1 liter

 

Dissolve 8.5 g NaCl in 1 liter distilled water. Autoclave 15 min at 1210C. Cool to room temperature. Add 6 ml formaldehyde solution. Do not autoclave after addition of formaldehyde.
