Unemployment in March 2005

The unemployment rate declined to 5.2 percent in March 2005. The jobless rate was 5.4 percent in the previous month.

Over the month, the unemployment rates for adult men, whites, and Hispanics or Latinos declined. The unemployment rates for adult women, teenagers, and blacks or African Americans were little changed.
