Industries with the most new jobs, 2004-14

The detailed industry with the largest projected wage and salary employment growth from 2004 to 2014 is employment services. This industry is expected to have about 1.6 million new jobs.

All ten detailed industries with the largest projected wage and salary employment growth are in the service-providing sector. These ten industries are shown in the chart.

Three of the detailed industries are in the health care sector, two are education industries, and two are in the food services and drinking places industry.
