Our Mission

Implement a national workforce system that is citizen-centered and provides workers and employers the assistance they need to succeed in a global economy where innovation spurs competitiveness. Assist in providing the human resource solutions that innovation-driven regional economic development requires.

Managing strategically in order to ensure high performance, greater public accountability, service quality and customer satisfaction; and

Working collaboratively with partners and stakeholders in business, labor and state and local governments, by:

  • Providing executive leadership for the Agency in the development of the Strategic Plan, measurement of performance and results, and increased accountability of the workforce investment system to customers, partners and stakeholders.

  • Building, maintaining and continuously improving the technology infrastructure for ETA’s national and regional offices.

  • Building, maintaining and continuously improving model systems for our State, local and grantee partners so they can serve their (our) direct customers better.

  • Building, maintaining and continuously improving the information technology systems needed to support regional economic development and job creation driven by innovation.
