AT 800 PM PDT...0300 UTC...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM HERNAN WAS
LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 18.9 NORTH...LONGITUDE 131.7 WEST OR ABOUT
1435 MILES...2305 KM...WEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA.
 
HERNAN IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 9 MPH...15 KM/HR.  A TURN
TOWARD THE WEST-SOUTHWEST IS ANTICIPATED TOMORROW AND A WEST-
SOUTHWESTWARD MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE ON WEDNESDAY.  
 
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 65 MPH...100 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS.  SLOW WEAKENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
