| Cert Description |
| Rock Community will be assisting the Jefferson County EMA with a county wide roll out of CERT. We will organize the training effort in the East Zone and assist with coordinating the county-wide training initiative. The 2005 training schedule should include 3-4 provider courses as well as participation in regional refresher exercises.
We will also assist with organizing the "Region C" CERT Coalition consisting of several CERT program partcicpants from around the St. Louis area. We hope to regionalize the CERT training as we work together to share resources, instructors, discuss best practices, etc. Members of the coalition thus far consist of various emergency management and first response agencies along with corporate CERT programs. We look forward to working with all of our "Partners in Preparedness". |
