Cert Description
First class graduated November 2003; a total of 80 CERT members tained to date. Our current class has 25 students enrolled. Community awareness through Neighborhood Association meetinsg, health fairs sponsored by the county, and City sponsored events. Members support Cultural Enrichment Department parades & events; also, our Senior Smoke Detector Project checks smoke detectors to ensure operability & replaces batteries for senior citizens. Next class set for May 2005 & has 16 enrolled at present.
