| Cert Description |
| The Willard City CERT Organization was first established in 1994. After several years of off and on again activity, we are working hard to revitalized the program within the community.
Our purpose is to provide high quality CERT Training courses for all citizens of Willard City, the town of South Willard and other surrounding communities. We plan to provide 3 basic training courses annually.
In partnership with our Fire and Police Departments we offer CPR and First Aid training classes. We have also provided a crowd and traffic control class and a Radio Communitions class for interested Cert members.
Our goal is to provide well trained, confiedient volunteer CERT teams that can effectively and efficiently aid and assist our professional responders whenever and wherever we are needed. In both emergency and non-emergency situations.
Our jurisdiction consists of 4 areas. We are in the process of developing a community wide database,wherein we can quickly identify and poole manpower, equipment, supplies, skills and other resources withiin each of the areas. Also, a phone tree/radio/runner communications system and area cashe/storage bays are in the final development stages.
We are excited about our program and invite and encourage all area residents to attend the training courses and to get involved in our community. |
