1992- Program Manager of NASA contract "Digital Image Processing
for Earth System Science". Responsible for investigation
of science problems due to solar/viewing geometries and resolution,
tracking algorithms for motion estimates, and calibration, navigation,
and display techniques.
1987-1992 Program Manager of NASA contract "Digital Image
Processing of Multispectral Atmospheric/Surface Data". Responsible
for development of software for analysis, display, calibration
and navigation of Multispectral Atmospheric Mapping Sensor (MAMS)
data.
1982-1987 Program Manager of NASA contract "Digital Image
Processing of Satellite Data for Determining Storm Characteristics".
Co-developed a system for the determination of cloud winds using
multi-temporal satellite imagery. Modified the software for many
systems. Transferred system to Navy facility (NEPRF).
1977-1982 Program Manager of NASA contract "Image Software
Analysis and Evaluation". Verified and analyzed approximately
25 data compression, geometric correction and pattern recognition
techniques for their effects on the integrity of image data.
1970-1977 Computer Scientist. Researched digital processing of
multiband imagery for land use analysis, object detection and
sizing, determination of ground control points and land use. |
