| Covering 430 square miles, the City of Suffolk is both rural and urban in character. There are many areas in the city that can be cut off emergency responders due to a catastrophic event. This fact was proven during Hurricane Floyd in 1999.
Our Goal is to train and organize CERT Teams in these areas. We are currently scheduling 4 classes per year. |
