Cert Description |
-Recruitment of Apache County Citizens to assist with various disasters that the county would ecounter whether it be from flooding, fires, droughts or public health emergencies.
-In order to have a trained cadre of volunteers the Apache County Public Health Emergency Preparedness Volunteer Program would provide training in the areas of CERT, Public Health and in the Joint Information Center (JIC).
-Local Citizen volunteers would also make-up the Round Valley Citizens Corps Council (RVCCC) to assist with the various Citizens Corps Programs in the community.
-The objective is to recruit,train and retain 800+ volunteers from Apache County in order to meet any type of emergency/disaster that might occur. |
