Cert Description
The City of Yonkers Office of Emergency Management in Collaberation with businesses, schools, church and communities organizations have reached out to train 121 people in the CERT Program. The Office of Emergency Management has also created a 2 1/2 hour presentation highlighting emergency preparedness, ways to prevent fires, and a basic overview of Terrorism. As of September 28, the P.A.C.T. program (Public Awareness Contingency Training) has been presented to 400 people.
