SDART (Seattle Disaster Aid & Response Teams) prepares neighborhoods (25-50 homes) to be self-sufficient for the three days that 9-1-1 emergency responders are historically overwhelmed by the demands of disaster. SDART organizes the neighborhood into Disaster Response Teams that are assisted in the completion of their responsibilities by simple checklists. A neighborhood's preparedness process includes a Table Top, Walk-about, Responder 101 and Functional Exercise.
