Cert Description
The Borough of Manasquan is currently soliciting interest in a Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) program. Through training, citizens can manage utilities and put out small fires; provide basic medical aid; search for and rescue victims safely; and organize themselves and spontaneous volunteers to be effective. The goal is to have members trained to assist the local Office of Emergency Management during catastrophic events such as floods, large power outages, natural and man-made disasters, as well as large community events.
