Cert Description
Somerville's first CERT class graduated from their FEMA training during the first week of October 2003. Currently we are recruiting new members. We welcome any applicant over 18, who is a Borough resident. Although it is not a requirement, knowledge of a second language is a great asset to the team. Somerville CERT's main goal is to include members from all over the Borough. Participation in the CERT program increases our safety and strengthens our sense of community.
