The Bernardsville CERT Program was designed to allow people who live and work in Bernardsville to provide volunteer emergency resources to Police, Fire and Ems in the event of disasters or emergencies. Members are appointed to the Team under the direction of the Office Of Emergency Management. Members will work with local professional emergency services as needed and will carry out a variety of functions to include: Storm Response issues and support, Disaster response and support, Shelter Management and support. Members will work closely with members of the local emergency planning committee to prepare disaster response plans for the Office Of Emergency Management.
