FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 14, 2006

(Washington, Dec. 14) – During the first week since its release, the Iraq Study Group’s report has been downloaded more than 1.4 million times from the Web site of its primary facilitator, the United States Institute of Peace (USIP).

USIP, which provided scholarly and logistical support to the Iraq Study Group, posted the report on its Web site as soon as the Iraq Study Group co-chairs began their December 6 press conference releasing the report.

Later that day, USIP posted video of the press conference. The video has now been downloaded more than 3,700 times.
