Staff at GOV TV

Crew members at GOV TV must possess many skills. All of the full time production staff are professional television production technicians and are called upon daily to fill the varied roles of producer, director, writer, videographer, audio engineer, and editor as well as master control operator. Additionally, each team member has his own particular areas of specialization and responsibility.

In addition to the full-time staff, we have a pool of talented production technicians that are contracted on a part-time, as-needed basis, for television production.

Crew Members

Dave Mathews (dmathews@cabq.gov) - GOV TV Station Manager; oversees all aspects of GOV TV operations and welcomes citizen input concerning Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Government television programming

Margaret Michel (mmichel@cabq.gov) - Office Coordinator; schedules studio productions; dispatches field crews; administrative accounting and correspondence; updates and maintains systems databases; manages supplies inventory; manages equipment loan pool, handles programming information requests

Diego Lucero (dllucero@cabq.gov) - Production Manager; organizes and assigns television production work; supervises production staff; Producer, Director, Editor, Videographer, Graphics Artist, Programming Coordinator
