Research Center

The Research Center will be closed January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Since 1893, the Oklahoma Historical Society has worked to collect and preserve materials that offer insight into the history of our state.

The Research Center's extensive collections encompass numerous aspects of Oklahoma's heritage, from territorial history to the present day. Collections include books, microfilm, manuscripts, photographs, oral histories, film and newspapers, as well as numerous resources for genealogical research.

Our new online catalog allows researchers to browse the collections or search for a specific topic.
