Award-Winning Wildlife Biologist to SpeakContact: Coral Bailie, (541) 957-3425 ROSEBURG, OR – September 11, 2008 – The Douglas County Museum is teaming with the Forest Service to present an informational program about developing wildlife habitat on the Umpqua National Forest on Tuesday, September 16, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Douglas County Museum in Roseburg. Diamond Lake District Wildlife Biologist Jeff Bohler will share his PowerPoint presentation as he talks about habitat improvement for the many Rocky Mountain elk in the district. Bohler has received awards for his habitat work. This free event, around a campfire, in the courtyard of the Douglas County Museum is for all ages. The Museum is located off I-5 at exit 123 across from the fairgrounds. Refreshments will be served. Reservations are not needed, but are encouraged because of space requirements.
