Our Staff Hernando County Emergency Management Department is staffed with six full-time members. Each member of the department is responsible for different aspects of the department. In addition to the staff, volunteers assist with coordinating programs, communication and training.

The Emergency Management Office is an independent office of the county government, reporting to the Board of County Commissioners through the County Administrator.
