NIST WMD is planning two 2 1/2-day workshops on "Commercial Hydrogen Measurement Standards" at its Gaithersburg, Maryland campus. The workshops are made possible through funding from the American Competitiveness Initiative. The funding will also cover the costs for a limited number of weights and measures officials to participate in the workshops.
The workshops will familiarize weights and measures officials, who are responsible for field inspection and test of motor-fuel dispensers, with the latest developments in the operation, performance, and safety of hydrogen refueling equipment and related transportation technologies.
