Calling All Volunteers!
Do you or someone you know have a diverse set of skills, enjoy serving the community in a friendly environment, or want to learn more about museums? The Balloon Museum is looking for numerous volunteers who can assist with exhibitions, collections, and programs. Volunteer teachers -or docents-will be recruited and trained on the many projects and programs to be offered at the Museum. You can join us as we showcase the adventurous spirit, endeavors and achievements of ballooning.
Volunteers work one four-hour shift per week or more depending on their schedule. Some examples of help needed are in the following areas: clerical, docents and greeters,. Training sessions for docent and greeter volunteers are ongoing. All volunteers will attend orientation and will train with a supervisor. Please call for more information.
