What is Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)?

Compressed natural gas (CNG) is an alternate fuel that is made by compressing methane extracted from natural gas.

Why is CNG Better than Petroleum-Based Fuels?

CNG produces significantly fewer harmful emissions than gasoline or diesel.

CNG in Action on Albuquerque Streets

The City of Albuquerque owns more than 100 CNG-fueled vehicles including Honda Civics and pick-up trucks which are used by City employees during routine daily tasks.
In additon, 84 ABQ Ride buses run on CNG!
