The House Appropriations Committee passed the Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations bill for FY 2009 on Wednesday, June 25th.

Overall, the National Science Foundation received $6.854 billion, an increase of $789.10 million, or 13%, over the FY '08 Consolidated Appropriations, and equal to the President's request.
