Our mission is to educate, respond to, interact with, and to help advise the Congress on OPM's Federal employee pay and benefit programs and legislative priorities for the Director and the Administration.
We accomplish our mission by:
Planning, coordinating, and directing a comprehensive effort to inform Congress of the President's and Director's goals, plans, and activities that have a bearing on proposed or desired legislation.
Counseling and advising the Director and other OPM officials on Congressional relations matters
Developing strategies for achieving the President's agenda and OPM's legislative program
