Speed-measuring Devices
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in partnership with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), have published performance specifications for both radar and lidar speed-measuring devices.
The following Consumer Products Lists includes those devices that are in compliance with those published specifications:
