Plant Import Information

Materials in the Screening Program

Information on the progress of plant accessions within the various testing programs is maintaned in a local database called the Quarantine Information System (QIS). However, some of the information such as the country of origin, donor, accession name, and general quarantine status is also publicly available through the search function of the USDA-ARS National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS) database known as the Germplasm Resources Information Network (GRIN). This online searchable database is the publicly available interface to information pertaining to accessions located at various NPGS Repositories around the country, as well as materials in quarantine testing at the PGQP.

The most complete and up-to-date information on the status of an accession within the testing program can be provided by contacting the specific crop manager directly. Below are links to those managers.
