Postdoctoral Training Opportunity
Genome Instability and Chromatin-Remodeling: The National Institute on Aging (NIA), a major research component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is recruiting for one postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Genetics, Intramural Research Program (IRP), to work in the Genome Instability and Chromatin-Remodeling Section on purification of multi-protein complexes and analysis of their structures and functions (http://www.grc.nia.nih.gov/branches/lg/trru/trru.htm). Projects include studies of chromatin-remodeling mechanisms (Genes Dev.19:1662-7, 2005), DNA damage response, and human genomic instability diseases (Nat. Genet. 35:165-170, 2003); (Nat. Genet. 37:958-963, 2005) .
The successful individuals will possess a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, molecular genetics, or a related field, with no more than five years of postdoctoral research experience. Salary is commensurate with research experience and accomplishments.
