at the Digital Edge
This weekend
Sept 7 and 8, News4 will be hosting the Digital Edge Expo at the
Washington Convention Center. Several area companies, technology
councils, and non-profit technology organizations will also be on
hand to demonstrate their new and innovative products and along
with seminars on such topics as using digital cameras, HDTV and
safe guarding information for internet usage.
The NASA booth
will showcase our latest efforts in Earth and space science, as
well as technology commercialization. A full size astronaut space
suit also will be on display. The Expo is free to the public. The
hours of the Digital Expo will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on each
day.
Health
and Wellness Seminars
What:
Code 200 and the GSFC Health Unit staff invite you to bring a lunch
and join us in a series of health and wellness seminars. The goal
of these presentations is to ensure our personnel are informed health
care consumers. Dr.
Terrence A. Bidnick will discuss the topic, Physical Exams and Health
Screening: Who, What, When, Where and Why

Mon. Sept. 16 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. in bldg 1, room E100D. *Seating
in this room is limited to approximately 25 people.

Island Party Shrimp Feast
What:
The authentic island steel band "Ewabo" and a catered
dinner will highlight a great party along with the scrumptious menu
of 1 lb. jumbo steamed shrimp per person, jerk chicken, grilled
burgers/hot dogs, potato salad, "island rice", baked beans,
slaw and beer/wine/sodas. Plus CASH door prizes!
When/Where: Thurs., Sept. 26 at the Rec Center from 4:30
to 8:30 p.m.
Cost:
Tickets cost
$11/person until COB September 13th, then the price goes
up to $15/person through September 20th. Only 200 tickets will be
sold and no tickets will be sold after September 20th (no exceptions).

This course identifies the methods for valuing a technology by outlining
strategies for determining the net present value of the business
the technology supports and the portion of profits that can be attributed
to the technology. The Relief from Royalty and Technology Factor
valuation methods are examined thoroughly.
