Degradates in the Environment Special Session
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) co-sponsored a special session on "Degradates in the Environment (TP6)" at the 4th World SETAC Conference, Portland, Oregon, November 16, 2004. The session presented practitioners with the latest information on the fate of the degradates of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and other chemicals in the environment. USGS researchers presented results of research on the environmental degradates of agricultural antibiotics and several pesticides during the session.
